Many of us have heard that disease cannot live in an alkaline body. I’ve learned to expand that concept because I believe the body, mind, and emotions must be alkaline, which means that what we put into our bodies, minds, and emotions matter, and detoxing the body, mind, and emotions is even more vital. Detoxifying the body using infrared saunas, coffee enemas, celery juice, detox juices, and fasts is essential, as is detoxing negative beliefs/thoughts running through our subconscious mind, and detoxing suppressed emotions such as fear, anger, frustration, and unforgiveness. Suppressed emotions can be toxic and deadly.

I am not a wellness coach..I am just sharing what I do. I have read many books that contradict each other, have listened to podcasts, youtube videos, and have talked to many amazing nutritionists. I understand the options of health, supplements, and food are limitless and can be so confusing. I believe everyone’s body has different chemistry so what works for one person may not work for another. You need to be in alignment with your body and so in tune to it- it will tell you what it needs. Take the time to ask your body what it wants. Alkaline body goes beyond just food and supplements. I have found many holistic approaches to strengthen and heal the body. If you know of others, please let me know! The one thing I know- there is sooooo much out there -the below is a small sampling.
I eat lots of salads, fruits, veggies, salmon and shrimp. No gluten, no milk dairy, minimal processed foods, No GMO, No high sugars ( gluten free oreo cookies and Lime Tositos are my indulges.) No pork! I have read it takes the body over 24 hours to digest so it is the worst meat you can eat, and yes I used to love bacon. I look at that yummy bacon and tell myself…..nope- it will take too much effort away from fighting the cancer and anything else in my body to digest it. I will eat a small slice of grass fed beef on special occasions. No sodas, I only drink alkaline water with lemon or tea or powered energy drinks, sometimes coffee because my hubby makes it so good. I use non fluoride toothpaste, I use non metal deodorant. I use non toxic cleaners. Everything you use matters! Just like walking, the more you practice eating plant based foods, the better you get at it and your body releases more energy than you ever thought possible. Just go a week eating salads every day and plant based and just be aware of how your body feels. Mine feels amazing!
I take lots of supplements. Here is my list that I have gotten from nutritionists along the way or from doing my own research. As of my last oncologist checkup – he said my labs were better than his!
Books and websites emphasize alkaline water’s benefits. There’s plenty of information on Google. Factual: The pH scale measures alkalinity and acidity. Below 7.0 is acidic, and above is neutral. Alkaline water’s pH ranges from 7.0 to 10.0. Spring water with a pH of 8.0 to 9.0 is considered alkaline. Sodas and most tap water are acidic. Alkaline water is a natural antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals, aids weight loss, and decreases heart disease. Alkaline water can hydrate the body, improve mental clarity, and boost the immune system. Alkaline water can help you live longer, say some studies. The Okinawa Centenarian Project discovered that residents of Okinawa, Japan, often live to be 100 years old—they drink alkaline water with a pH of 10.0! I bought an alkaline water machine to avoid buying bottles. My favorite machine, built by K and H Alkaline Water in Houston, is less expensive than most.
Electric and magnetic fields (EMFs) are invisible areas of energy, often called radiation, that are linked to the use of electricity and different technologies such as computers, wireless networks, cell phones, microwaves, power lines, MRIs., etc.
Scientists have discovered that prolonged exposure to EMFs oven disrupts your immune system. The immune system loses its ability to distinguish between safe cells and dangerous bacteria. This means that it may underreact or overreact to some threats. Our bodies do not benefit from a confused immune system.
Stay away from microwaves when they are on. Push the start button and walk in the other room or at least several feet away from it. I wear a Qlink necklace, a disk on my phone, and have a device I use in my bedroom for protection from EMF.Q .

Connecting with Mother Earth is a fantastic way to alkalize your physical and emotional bodies. Walking barefoot on mother earth or any connection to dirt, sand, rocks, trees, or natural water is referred to as earthing. While on the phone, gardening, or listening to a podcast, I'll walk around my backyard barefoot. Going to the beach is a terrific way to earth in the sand or water. To keep earthing even while sleeping, I sleep on a grounded sheet from Amazon. Nature has the best concealed healing secret.....it provides the purest energy. They conducted studies to demonstrate that earthing decreases inflammation, stress hormones, pain, and boosts energy and sleep quality. Walking around trees provides you with energy. Take a barefoot walk or sit close to a tree and pay attention to how you feel. I'm sure you'll feel some healing energy!
According to Gary R Renard’s book, Love Has Forgotten No One. The most ignored ailment in the human body is a lack of oxygen. In the presence of oxygen, cancer cells cannot thrive. Most diseases could be avoided or healed if all of our cells were properly oxygenated. You can oxygenate the body in several ways such as open windows, get fresh air, have indoor plants, stop smoking and do breathing exercises. Breathing exercises like the Wim Hof Method which is what I do almost daily gives you more energy, reduces stress levels and gives an augmented immune response that deals with pathogens. The second breath I imagine the Divine Golden light coming down from my head to toes, healing my body and the third breath I imagine 3 goals as if they had happened and feel the joy .

This type of healer focuses on assisting people in their growth and healing by connecting to energy. By “Source energy,” I mean the source of everything, God, Goddess, or the Divine Source. Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts that maintain the aroma and flavor of their source by mechanical pressing or distillation. The chemical composition of each essential oil varies, which has an impact on the oil's scent, absorption, and therapeutic benefits. Essential oils can be used topically or inhaled. Alkalizing the body is moving the body!!! 30 minutes of Rebounding is my favorite exercise as it does so much for the body (see entire page on rebounding).
I love lifting weights because I feel stronger, it helps me sleep, it builds my confidence and I feel and look healthy. When I lift weights it’s like I am loving my body and giving it the time it needs to look and feel good. I also enjoy kickboxing for the same reasons. Both make me feel powerful!
I am discovering yoga because it also does so much for the body. When I can’t sleep at night, I turn on his app and tap my way to a peaceful night’s rest.
Activated charcoal has been used medicinally since ancient Egypt. Coconut shells, charred wood, or peat are treated with oxygen to form a porous surface. This porous surface has a negative electric charge, which traps and eliminates positively charged toxins, bacteria, medications, and chemicals. Because charcoal is so good at removing toxins, it is used in emergency departments to treat overdose patients. It stands to reason that it has the potential to lessen daily chemical exposure. According to studies, activated charcoal is extremely effective at absorbing the most harmful organic chemicals, toxic metals such as mercury, pesticides, medications, and other chemical poisons. The use of charcoal reduces inflammation. Charcoal has been shown to remove pro-inflammatory cytokines from the blood. This may be especially helpful for people suffering from inflammatory diseases like rheumatoid arthritis. Activated charcoal is an effective treatment for gas and bloating. It is said to prevent hangovers and lower cholesterol. Just before going to bed or I will drink 3-4oz of Lucky activated charcoal water when I wake up in the middle of the night or very early in the morning. I use 1 tsp in 12oz of water and do not take any medicine or eat anything for an hour thereafter to allow the charcoal to clean the system.
I did coffee enemas for three months straight daily when I was told I have 1-3 years left to live. The next scan showed the cancer had not grown. I lost a lot of weight as well as I did not juice enough. There are mixed feelings out there about this process. I still do it every week to two weeks or so just to keep myself alkaline and toxin free.
I absolutely love my infrared sauna. Sweating assists in the detoxification of pathogens. Infrared is the way to go for reducing inflammation and eliminating toxins…along with other benefits like strengthening your immune system, supporting muscle, and reducing stress by lowering the body’s cortisol levels (the primary stress hormone). Regular use reduces anxiety and sleep-related issues like insomnia, enhances blood circulation, which can relieve and relax muscular tension, and improves cardiovascular strength and endurance. According to Dr. Oz, a single sauna session can burn up to 600 calories due to the increased heat inside your body. Raising your internal body temperature will increase your metabolism, resulting in weight loss. I know without a doubt it helps inflammation. When I use it regularly I can keep the pain at a minimum in my liver. When I travel out of town and cannot get to one if over a week or so- the pain gets worse. I purchased mine from sunlighten and I really love it. When I initially purchased it, my husband felt I was crazy for spending the money on it, but he now loves it and considers it the best investment in health.
I start with lemon water every morning. It detoxes the body and alkalizes water. Without an alkaline water machine, this is incredibly beneficial. After my water, I’ll have celery juice to detox my liver. The liver has over 2000 functions. Help needed! After drinking juice, I don’t eat or drink for 45-60 minutes. I drink then meditate, so time flies. Anthony Williams’ Medical Medium books include basic and specialized detox recipes.
I’m not a news reader or television watcher. To unwind and escape, I’ll watch movies with my family. I love watching Disney movies with my grandchildren! On a regular basis, I listen to Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Master Co, Deepak Chopra, Abraham Hicks, Greg Braden, Joe Dispenza, and others on YouTube. There are many good mentors to learn from. I read almost every day to heal my body, empower my mind and feed my soul. Leaders are readers!

The alkaline mind also deals with your inner language. If you tell yourself uplifting and empowering messages, your body is alkaline. You poison your body when you tell yourself, “I’m a loser, I’m not good enough.” I’ll go into further detail under the category Loving yourself. Every thought, every emotion contributes to the alkalinity of your body. Your subconscious mind hears everything you say, so even if you’re joking, be kind. Many people have joked their way into tragic conditions because they did not realize how essential every word and thought is. My Tony Robbins coach, Otilia Kiss, once told me, “Be careful of your words, your cells are listening!”
A Belief is anything that provides a sense of purpose and direction in life. Our perceptions of the world are filtered via the lens of our beliefs. “Handled effectively, beliefs can be the most powerful forces for creating good in your life. On the other hand, beliefs that limit your actions and thoughts can be as devastating as resourceful beliefs can be empowering.” = Tony Robbins in Unlimited Power.
Sometimes we need help to identify limiting thoughts that are leading our subconscious mind to sabotage us. When I attended Date With Destiny, a Tony Robbins event, I discovered I had some limiting beliefs that I was able to overcome. And when I took the Truth Method with Claudette Anderson, I discovered many more limiting beliefs that I had no idea existed. I will discuss this further under the Connection tab.
I feel that detoxing suppressed emotions is where true healing begins. I genuinely felt the changes of freedom within when I released suppressed emotions and memories through mediation and professionals.
I was fortunate to have a one-on-one session with Master Co, a pranic healer. He reached out to me on the phone. I felt as if his hand had reached through the phone and scraped out my heart, despite the fact that he was hundreds of miles away. He indicated that I was angry. I thought I was the most positive and cheerful person I knew, so I had to dig deep to find the anger and go on a journey to rid myself of negative emotions and suppressed impulses. Master Co’s session and his teaching on how to cleanse and release blocked emotions through his meditations and programs on his website are deeply appreciated.
Based on this experience, I realized there had to be more to release and discover the source of the anger, but I couldn’t figure it out. A friend recommended Claudette Anderson and her Truth Method to help me get to the bottom of my anger. Her truth sessions brought to the surface childhood traumas that I had long suppressed. I never mourned the fact that I divorced my high school sweetheart because of alcoholism. I was so frustrated at the time and simply didn’t have enough time to heal while raising our three children on my own. I uncovered destructive subconscious thoughts that I now believe were the fundamental cause of the cancer. I was able to release a lot of my anger and replace it with unconditional forgiveness and love, especially for myself, thanks to her guidance. I highly recommend the book –Deadly Emotions by Don Colbert M.D. It states, “According to the American Institute of Stress between 75-90% of all visits to primary care physicians result from stress-related disorders”. Dr. Candance Pert in the book states, “No person experiences an emotion just in his ”heart” or in his “mind”. Rather, a person experiences an emotion in the form of chemical reactions in the body and the brain. These chemical reactions occur at both the organ level- stomach, heart, large muscles and so forth- and at the cellular level.”
